What are the chances of a solid mass on my liver being cancerous?
Doctors have recently found a solid mass on my liver about the size of a golf ball (5cm in diameter).... From what I understand, tumors/cysts over 2cm are more likely to be malignant, and also there are more chances that because it is a solid mass that it could be cancerous. It is the shape of a wedge and is growing on my liver. I'm 26 years old and I'm really afraid of what's goin on, no one will give me any answers... I've had to read the CT and ultrasound reports and do my own homework on the internet. Anyone know what the chances are of it being cancer since its pretty large and solid? I would appreciate honest answers, I'm prepared to hear whatever... Thank you and God bless. XoXo
I’m sorry, but asking for random guesses will not provide you with any meaningful answers. The best information you have at this point is in those reports. After all the radiologist actually looked at it and your doctor is using them to make decisions about your care.
If your doctor is not answering your questions then you need to find one that will communicate better with you. On the other hand, if he or she is not providing you with the answers you wan to hear that is another story. They are not giving you an answer, because they don’t know. Making a diagnosis is often a process and often requires the opinion of at least a few specialties.
Mickelson Is Exposed To Cheat
A new PGA golfer, Scott McCarron reported that Mickelson broke the golf game rule.
The new groove rules ban square grooves. The loophole - which exists for PGA Tour and USGA competitions - allows square-grooved Ping Eye 2 irons and wedges made in the late 1980s to continue being used, even though they don't conform to the new groove rules. The loophole dates to a legal battle between the USGA and Ping, and the PGA Tour and Ping, in the late '80s and early 1990s. Now there are still golf clubs sale.
When Mickelson decided last week to use an old Ping Eye 2 wedge at the Farmers Insurance Open, McCarron blasted the decision, saying: "It's cheating and I am appalled Phil has put it in play."
Today, McCarron posted a note on his Web site standing by those comments and calling for the PGA Tour to ban the old Ping Eye 2s, while also saying he never called Mickelson a cheater.
But the repercussions are dire，some reports had called Mickelson a cheater. Wish he can make a claim so as not to become the next scandal Tiger Woods, Wish he become No 1 golf-talented Tiger Woods.
